Last sunday we drove to Kent to watch Prince perform at the Hop Farm festival
(for my father Tage: Prince is not a royal person, he is a musician who has chosen the name of Prince. Crazy world eh!?).
It was a wonderful festival, very good athmosphere and lots of families and older generations.
We had a little blanket with us, some food and drink and some toys to keep Alva entertained. We also bought some ear protectors for her - she hated it! She screamed until we took them off.
She did find the festival very interesting and didnt fall asleep until almost 22.30 when he played one of his most famous songs "Purple Rain". Its a ballad, so I am sure that sent her off to sleep!
Sometimes it all gets too much having to be the clown and entertainer for Alva 24 hours a day (well, almost) so for the first time today I decided to put her in front of the television for a few minutes so I could eat lunch.
She loved watching the colourful cartoons and kept "talking" to the television! Brilliant!
Today we met pappa after work and went to The Engineer in Primrose Hill. This is (as mentioned before) a very special place for us, as this is where we got together for the first time.
Unfortunately,it is at risk of being closed down so we are trying our best to support it as much as we can!
